This free event offers an opportunity to spend a leisurely day enjoying fine arts in our seven diverse galleries, as well as among our visiting artists who set up outdoors in tents, on porches, and in courtyards along the Avenue. You’ll be entertained by musicians, street performers, face painters, portrait artists, and more. You’ll have an opportunityto see artists at work painting, blowing glass, perhaps even faceting precious gems. You can also visit “Artwood Forest”, the realm of imagination, where you can enjoy fun activities for children of all ages. It’s easy to find whatever interests you with the Art Walk programs available wherever you see the blue and black Gallery Group flags. Get the program punched at each gallery and have a chance to win a prize. Flagler Avenue also has dozens of quaint shops and dining options for every budget and taste. On the east we have Florida’s best beach and on the west, the sunsets over the Indian River Lagoon are to die for! There’s plenty of free public parking and, yes, all of this is in easy walking distance along the five blocks from the river to the ocean.

The fourth annual Ristorante Pietro Reunion Show as held Sunday April 13 at the beautiful Hidden Lakes Golf Club. Approximately 130 people attended, many of whom came to recapture the supper club aura that was so popular in it’s heyday. The Joe Mose Band with Marc Monteson played a dance set for the first hour while guests arrived and enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres that were part of a three course tapas dinner prepared by Chef Michael Perri of the Garlic Restaurant.
The rhythm section of the Mose Band then joined pianist Michael Lamy at the baby grand for more dance numbers and were followed by the stars of the show Peter Puzzo and Catherine Lamy-Puzzo. Pianist Clyde Mann also entertained during the evening as did Peter’s daughter Leah. Toward the end of the evening guests were treated to Bluesman Mark Hodgson on vocals and harmonica. The event was also a CD release party for Peter’s recording of broadway and opera classics from his career that is available at the Garlic on Tuesday thru Saturday for $ 15.
